you tense up a an awful lot 

resulting shot being a flop

You even see this with the pros

coming down the last few holes

during a major golf tournament

thus takes your mind off the game

Get a Grip by Gary Ley  

The best grip for a golfer to use

to ensure the fingers correctly fuse

is the interlocking hand type

uniting both for consistent ball flight

Hold the club in front of where you stand

take an under-grip with your left hand.

Next is an over-grip with the right   

bind together firmly,not to tight.

Overlap little finger on right,don't fidget

let it fit over left hand's first digit.

When it feels locked over index one

hands and club will move as one.

setting off in 5th gear,

Playing golf as it should be,
whacking the balls off a tee.

needing only a couple or so.

Puting all the simple errors right

so prevents you getting up tight
