3 irons fly 200 yards or more,

to carry 190 take out a 4.

To achieve 180 a 5 is the stick,

if you want 170, then take a 6.

So it runs till you’re down to 120,

when a pitching wedge should be plenty.

Do not smack

an almighty whack.

Rely on the swing

& tempo the thing.

Along with technique,

non-muscle physique.

Master and learn

a smooth turn, 

no sudden jerks,

as a clock works.
