Lost Ball Tip by Gary Ley

If you can't find your ball on a hole say,

be it lost in the rough or on the fairway,

 adding 2 unwanted shots to your score,

 what a horrid situation & horrible bore.

How can we prevent this from occurring

  & stopping the stomach from churning?

Firstly build up a shot routine to include

  

 checking your position which is viewed

from the side then picking a marker sign

back along the direction of the ball line.

 Pick out a distinctive item in the distance 

say a tree or bush to help with assistance.

 Doing the same along the forward sight

 towards the direction of the ball fight.

  Then to find that potential lost sphere,

now trust me here and have no fear,

 just walk between these fixed stations

 every now & then checking your locations.

Make sure eyes are looking straight down 

will surely pin point that ball on the ground.
