Playing in to the Wind by Gary Ley
There are various ways for wind plays,
most are sophisticated & over complicated.
Like the punch shot to make it hot,
or the wider stance to give it a chance,
or grip down shaft a bit before the hit.
But the old saying for shot saving
of 'when it's breezy , swing easy'.
is by far the best tact in fact
as speeding up to give it a thud
only puts more spin on the thing.
So take a club more for it to soar.
ball straight moving now we're grooving.
