The untold dangers of playing Golf by Gary Ley
There are many dangers playing this game
even though those that don't, say it is tame
We have to point out the obvious ones
like being hit with a club by your chums
not because you beat them by 10 & 8
the fact is you stood to near them mate
or being smacked in the head by a ball
after they shouted fore with a mighty haul
or smashing a club around a tree
wrapping its way back to hit your knee
No its the strength of the natural might
like a falling down tree or a lightning strike
but the worst of all and a little embarrassing
everyone's watching from the club house terracing
not after stepping on the tail of sunbathing adder
which is some tale to tell, no it's much more sadder
the rain caused you to fall down with a great big thud.
you've gone and broken your leg after sliding on mud.
